position : procurement - officer/ assistant manager
qualification : electrical / civil / mechanical engineer with 2 years full time mba.
experience : 6-8 years of latest experience in procurement function with epc companies preferably in middle east.
skill set required : in depth knowledge of excel working, ms office, sap – mm & sd modules.
driving license : local uae driving license
procurement experience :
* procurement management and spend management activities including strategic sourcing, supplier development and “end to end” procurement management related systems and processes.
* identify cost reduction opportunities, preferential pricing, payment terms, and partnerships to bring more value to the business
* perform all local procurement management and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, supplier visit reports, supplier assessement, performance evaluation, negotiation and preparation of contracts and framework agreements.
* actively engage with the business and develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to assess procurement risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost reduction opportunities.
* provide extensive support in tendering activities in middle east region for both bought-out items and civil & mep contracting activities.
* evaluation of sap reports and generating mis reports.
salary : aed 4500 per month + benefits.
