Responsible for managing and guiding the Workshop technicians in day to day activities of providing various repair jobs related to vehicles, heavy equipment, plant, machinery and tools, while ensuring the effective implementation of OEM and company quality management procedures.

-Must be familiar with company vehicles/equipment regarding maintenance procedures and records.

-Co-ordinate the work of subordinate staff and work effectively with order executives and departmental managers to ensure effective completion of work and achievement of departmental objectives and targets.

-Monitor cost effectiveness of repairs following consultation with subordinates, analyses information and makes recommendations / approves changes to achieve increased performance.

-Manage and co-ordinate supply chain and stock of plant spare parts and miscellaneous service equipment.

-Heavy equipment and light vehicles. (TMs, Tailors, Cement baulkers, shovels, etc)

-Ensure maximum manpower utilization through job cards to achieve operational efficiency and reduce idle time.

-Ensure the maintenance quality in manufactures standards with market reputations.

-Ensure all records/catalogues related to equipment and machineries are maintained properly in the respective section for immediate reference.

-Advise Higher Management on daily basis regarding equipment and vehicles repair status and outstanding matters for further action.

-To evaluate and report confidentially to the management on quarterly basis the qualities, performance and suitability of personnel of your division.

-Preventive maintenance should be done in scheduled time in coordination with the production related people so as to ensure that immediate eruption to production is avoided.

-Motivate and develop and train staff to ensure the repair job and quality is staffed with individuals to the required caliber.
