Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator to join our production team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machinery to produce components or finished goods efficiently and accurately. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining production quality and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup & Operation:

Prepare and set up machines for operation by loading raw materials, adjusting controls, tools, or dies according to production specifications and job orders.

Safely operate machines to manufacture parts or products, ensuring adherence to established procedures.

Monitor machine performance, output, and parameters (., speed, temperature, pressure) throughout the production run.

Load and unload materials and finished products from the machine efficiently.

Quality Control & Inspection:

Perform regular in-process quality checks and inspections on machined or produced parts using precision measuring instruments (., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.

Identify and report any defects, deviations, or non-conforming products immediately to the supervisor or quality control team.

Maintain accurate quality records and inspection logs.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

Detect and troubleshoot minor operational issues, machine malfunctions, or stoppages (., material jams, minor adjustments).

Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functioning and longevity.

Report major mechanical, electrical, or operational faults that require technical assistance to maintenance personnel or the supervisor.

Safety & Compliance:

Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols, machine operating procedures, and industry regulations.

Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, and safety shoes.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.

Follow production schedules, work instructions, and company guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting:

Accurately complete production logs, daily checklists, quality reports, and any other required documentation.

Report production output, downtime, and material usage to the supervisor.
