Job Description

bookkeeping and data entry:

processing and recording daily financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and receipts.

maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company's general ledger and accounting software.

accounts payable and receivable:

assisting with managing accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and preparing payments.

supporting accounts receivable by preparing and issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments.

reconciliation:

performing bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and identify any discrepancies.

reconciling various general ledger accounts as part of the month-end closing process.

financial reporting assistance:

helping to prepare basic financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements.

assisting in the generation of weekly and monthly financial reports for management review.

compliance and audits:

ensuring all financial data is handled in compliance with company policies and established accounting principles (., gaap).

assisting with the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
