Job Description

Provide direct care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including advanced life support and resuscitation

Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures (., central lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy)

Coordinate and communicate with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other physicians

Manage ventilator settings and weaning, sedation protocols, fluid/electrolyte balance, and hemodynamic support

Develop individualized care plans and regularly reassess clinical progress

Participate in daily ICU rounds, family meetings, and end-of-life discussions as needed

Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with hospital policies and clinical guidelines

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and staff training programs

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff

Remain current on best practices, research, and advancements in critical care medicine
