- we are looking for linux administrators are back-end it specialists who install, configure, and maintain linux operating systems in a variety of organizations. this role involves server-side operations and troubleshooting tasks that support business-critical and development activities.

- linux administrators also configure user access and monitor system stability and security through deployment and everyday use.

role & responsibilities :

- performed top level troubleshooting and escalated known issues to the quality team.

- conveyed open client issues and helped maintain client production environment.

- performed unix scripting and oversaw linux servers.

- managed oracle 10g databases and generated stored procedures via pl/sql.

- extensive troubleshooting experience in a linux environment

- profound knowledge of tcp/ip and networking concepts.

- sound knowledge of enterprise-level configuration management.

- proficient in linux, redhat, java, perl, ruby, and php.

- help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure

- design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools

- develop and maintain configuration management solutions

- develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with the rest of the team

- create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure

- familiarity with the fundamentals of linux scripting languages

- experience installing, configuring and maintaining services such as bind, apache, mysql, nginx, etc.

- experience with virtualization technologies, such as xen
