Job Description

Perform 2D echocardiography, color Doppler, and M-mode studies on patients as prescribed.

Prepare patients for the procedure, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality and diagnostic accuracy.

Capture and record echocardiographic data according to protocol and cardiologist requirements.

Identify abnormalities or changes in heart function and report critical findings to the cardiologist.

Maintain patient records, scan reports, and logbooks accurately.

Clean and disinfect ultrasound equipment as per infection control policies.

Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.

Ensure all procedures comply with medical standards and hospital policies.
