we are hiring for the position as mentioned below:

position: deputy general manager / additional general manager safety (she)

department: safety, health & environment (she)

industry: steel / heavy manufacturing

experience: minimum 15 years (with at least 5 years in a senior safety leadership role)

key responsibilities:

formulate and implement she policies, systems, and strategic plans aligned with organizational and statutory requirements.

conduct hira (hazard identification & risk assessment), jsa (job safety analysis), and ensure implementation of preventive controls.

monitor plant safety performance, track kpis such as ltifr/trir, and drive continuous improvement.

ensure compliance with the factories act, explosives act, environment protection act, and other applicable laws.

liaise with statutory authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders on safety inspections and certifications.

ensure adherence to iso , iso , and other international safety management standards.

qualifications:

-bachelors degree in engineering

-diploma in industrial safety from regional labour institute (rli) mandatory.

-additional certifications in environment / fire safety will be an advantage.
