Job Description

Provide expert anaesthetic care for patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop tailored anaesthetic plans.

Administer anaesthesia (general, regional, or local) safely and monitor patient responses intraoperatively.

Oversee post-operative pain management and monitor recovery from anaesthesia.

Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior anaesthetists, trainees, and theatre staff.

Participate in on-call rota for emergency and out-of-hours services.

Collaborate with surgical teams, ICU, and other departments to ensure continuity of patient care.

Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, national standards, and safety guidelines.
