Job Description

Responsibilities:

Calibration Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive calibration program for all M&TE used in the Nashik facility, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal procedures.

Calibration Performance: Perform in-house calibration of various instruments and equipment, including but not limited to pressure gauges, temperature sensors, electrical testers, dimensional measuring tools, and analytical instruments.

External Calibration Coordination: Coordinate with external calibration laboratories for equipment that cannot be calibrated in-house, ensuring timely scheduling, proper handling, and review of calibration certificates.

Calibration Standards Maintenance: Maintain and manage calibration standards, ensuring their traceability to national or international standards and adherence to proper handling and storage procedures.

Calibration Procedures Development: Develop and document calibration procedures for various types of M&TE, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices.

Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on M&TE. Coordinate repairs with internal maintenance or external service providers as needed.

Calibration Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records, including calibration certificates, history files, and recall schedules, using both manual and electronic systems.

Out-of-Tolerance Investigations: Investigate out-of-tolerance conditions identified during calibration, determine the potential impact on product quality, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Training and Awareness: Provide training to relevant personnel on the proper use, handling, and care of M&TE, utilizing local language where appropriate.

Audit Support: Participate in internal and external audits related to the calibration program, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
