Job Description

We are looking to hire an Assistant IT Manager to join our team.

Key Deliverables

Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support IW objectives.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of software systems, including business applications, communication tools, and collaboration platforms.

Project management

Software/Hardware vendor management

Collaborate with cross- functional teams to identify IT requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT development teams, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.

Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.

Manage IT budgets and expenses, optimizing spending to achieve cost- effective solutions.

Lead and mentor IT staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience in IT for 7- 8 years, preferably in a startup or small business environment.

Must possess software application knowledge including but not limited to ERP configuration/support experience, logistics operational system, integration expertise.

Hands on project management experience to devise project plan, execute and monitor with multiple stakeholders.

Experience in software/hardware vendor management.

Software product development expertise including design, develop MVP/beta versions will be an added advantage.

Good communication skills
