Respond to inquiries
Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, or via email. Understand the inquiry, review previous inquiries and responses, and gather and research information.
Resolve issues
Handle and resolve complaints, or refer complex matters to professional or managerial staff.
Document inquiries
Document inquiries and responses in customers' accounts. Fill out forms after each interaction to determine frequent customer feedback or questions.
Improve service
Recommend improved processes and identify new product and service applications. Participate in meetings with the customer service team to develop new strategies.
CSAs may also perform other tasks, such as:
Assisting customers with purchases, orders, and/or deliveries
Implementing stock control and security procedures
Performing routine cash and/or administrative customer transactions
Following up with customers
Escalating customer inquiries
