Job Description

- checking passengers in: this involves verifying passengers' identities, checking their luggage, issuing boarding passes, and directing them to the appropriate departure gate.

- assisting passengers with boarding: helping passengers navigate the boarding process, ensuring they board the aircraft in an orderly fashion, and assisting with any special needs or requests.

- handling customer inquiries: providing information on flight schedules, delays, cancellations, and any other questions or concerns passengers may have.

- ensuring safety and security: following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft.

- managing baggage: handling baggage check-in, loading and unloading luggage, and ensuring baggage is properly routed to the correct destination.

- maintaining cleanliness: keeping the boarding gates, waiting areas, and other common areas clean and organized for passengers.

- assisting with special services: providing assistance to passengers with disabilities, unaccompanied minors, or other special needs.

About Air India Airlines

Founded in 1932 as Tata Airlines by J. R. D. Tata, Tata himself flew its first single-engine de Havilland Puss Moth, carrying air mail from Karachi to Bombay's Juhu aerodrome and later continuing to Madras (currently Chennai). After World War II, it was nationalised by the Government of India in 1953 and was renamed Air India.[4] On 21 February 1960, it took delivery of its first Boeing 707 named Gauri Shankar and became the first Asian airline to induct a jet aircraft in its fleet. In 200001, attempts were made to privatise Air India and from 2006 onwards, it suffered losses after its merger with Indian Airlines. Another privatization attempt was launched in 2017, which concluded with ownership of the airline and associated properties return to the Tata Group after 69 years in 2022.
