Job Description

responsibilities:

1. monitor and direct the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air

2. issue takeoff, landing, and taxi clearances to pilots

3. communicate with pilots, ground staff, and other air traffic controllers to ensure safe and efficient operations

4. maintain a high level of situational awareness and respond quickly and decisively to changing conditions

5. monitor weather conditions and adjust air traffic flow accordingly

6. provide clear and concise instructions to pilots during emergencies.
