responsibilities:

1. manage and direct air traffic in a safe and efficient manner

2. ensure compliance with all air traffic control regulations and protocols

3. communicate with pilots to provide instructions and updates on weather conditions, runway closures, and other relevant information

4. monitor and track the movement of aircraft using radar and other equipment
