an air traffic controller is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of air traffic in and around an airport terminal area. this includes guiding aircraft during takeoff, landing, and taxiing, as well as providing clearances and instructions to pilots to ensure proper spacing and routing of aircraft.
