key responsibilities:
1. handling ticket bookings and reservations: you will be responsible for booking and confirming air tickets for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. providing customer service: assisting customers with their travel queries, resolving issues, and providing information on flights, fares, and schedules.
3. coordinating with airlines and travel agencies: communicating with airlines and travel agencies to ensure smooth ticketing processes and resolving any ticketing-related issues.
4. updating ticketing systems: keeping ticketing systems up to date with flight schedules, prices, and availability to provide accurate information to customers.
5. managing customer inquiries: responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.
required skills and expectations:
- high school diploma or equivalent (12th pass, 10th pass) required, bachelor's or master's degree a plus.
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and airline partners.
- knowledge of ticketing systems and software used in the airline industry.
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- attention to detail and accuracy to ensure error-free ticket bookings.
- previous experience in air ticketing or customer service roles is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with the right skill set.
