Job Description

Responsibilities:

Maintaining Financial Records: Accurately record and maintain all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Preparing Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards.

Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, make payments to vendors, and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.

Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of local and national tax returns (., GST, Income Tax) in compliance with statutory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.

Internal Auditing: Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.

Compliance with Regulations: Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax laws in India and ensure company compliance.

Liaising with Auditors: Assist with external audits by providing necessary financial information and documentation.

Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and provide insights to management on financial performance.

Using Accounting Software: Proficiently use accounting software (., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) for data entry, report generation, and financial analysis.

Communication (Local Emphasis): Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and potentially tax authorities in Marathi, Hindi, and English as required.

Record Keeping and Filing: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and filing systems.

General Accounting Tasks: Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
