We are seeking a skilled and responsible VMC Machine Operator to operate and maintain our Vertical Machining Centers in our Nashik facility. The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up the machine, loading materials, monitoring operations, ensuring quality output, and performing basic maintenance. This role requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, follow instructions precisely, and adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Set up the VMC machine according to job specifications, including installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.

Operation: Operate the VMC machine to perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, and boring, according to the CNC program and work instructions.

Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications to understand dimensional requirements and tolerances.

Material Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload raw materials and finished parts from the VMC machine.

Monitoring and Adjustment: Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality of output. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and tooling as required.

Quality Checks: Perform regular quality checks on machined parts using precision measuring instruments (., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure conformance to specifications.

Basic Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on the VMC machine, including cleaning, lubricating, and checking coolant levels. Report any machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

Tool Handling: Handle and change cutting tools as needed, ensuring proper tool selection and setting.

Data Recording: Accurately record production data, including cycle times, quantities produced, and any issues encountered.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the VMC machine and working in the production area.
