Job Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our construction team in Lithuania. As a Steel Fixer, you will play a crucial role in reinforcing structures by accurately placing and securing steel bars or mesh. Your skills and expertise in working with steel will contribute to the safety and durability of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Steel Fixing: Accurately position and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms or structures according to engineering plans and specifications.

Reading Blueprints: Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine the layout and placement of steel reinforcements.

Cutting and Bending: Use cutting torches, rebar cutters, and benders to shape and cut steel bars as needed for each project.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents.

Quality Control: Ensure the correct size, spacing, and alignment of steel bars, and inspect them for defects.

Equipment Operation: Operate machinery and tools, such as rebar tiers and rebar-tying guns, safely and efficiently.

Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including concrete workers, carpenters, and project managers, to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.

Knowledge of steel fixing techniques and best practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

Proficiency in using steel fixing tools and equipment.

Strong physical endurance and ability to lift heavy objects.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Vocational or technical training in steel fixing is preferred.
