Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing tests, reporting bugs, and working closely with developers to ensure software quality across web and/or mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements, technical specifications, and user scenarios

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla

Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality deliverables

Write and maintain test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor��s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

2��3 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)

Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle

Hands-on experience with automation tools (., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar)

Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (., Jira, TestRail)

Good knowledge of SQL and ability to work with databases

Exposure to API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar)

Basic understanding of CI/CD and version control (Git)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and documentation abilities
