**Job Summary:**
The Soft Skill Trainer will design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs aimed at enhancing the communication, interpersonal, and professional skills of students. The primary objective is to equip students with essential soft skills crucial for their academic success, personal growth, and career readiness in a competitive global environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Curriculum Development:**
- Design and develop comprehensive soft skill training modules, workshops, and courses tailored to the needs of undergraduate and postgraduate students across various disciplines.
- Incorporate interactive activities such as case studies, role-plays, and group discussions to facilitate active learning.
- Regularly update training materials to reflect industry trends and student requirements.
**Training Delivery:**
- Conduct engaging and impactful training sessions on various soft skills topics, including but not limited to:
- Communication Skills (Verbal & Non-verbal)
- Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
- Interpersonal Skills and Teamwork
- Leadership Skills
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
- Time Management and Organization
- Stress Management and Emotional Intelligence
- Professional Etiquette and Grooming
- Interview Preparation and Group Discussion Techniques
- Resume Writing and Cover Letter Crafting
- Facilitate discussions, provide constructive feedback, and encourage self-reflection among students.
**Student Assessment & Development:**
- Assess student progress and provide individualized coaching and mentorship.
- Identify student strengths and areas for improvement, offering targeted support.
- Organize and conduct mock interviews and group discussions to prepare students for placements.
**Collaboration & Coordination:**
- Collaborate with faculty members and the Training & Placement Cell to integrate soft skill training into the academic curriculum.
- Coordinate with external experts or industry professionals for guest lectures and specialized workshops as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and student feedback.
**Continuous Improvement:**
- Gather feedback from students and faculty to continuously enhance training programs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in soft skill development and corporate training.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance personal training capabilities.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** A Master's degree in English, Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
**Experience:**
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Soft Skill Trainer, Corporate Trainer, or in a similar role, preferably in an academic institution.
- A proven track record of successfully training and mentoring students or professionals.
**Skills & Competencies:**
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of English and local languages (Tamil preferred).
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of students.
- Strong pedagogical skills and a passion for teaching and student development.
- Ability to design and deliver interactive and experiential learning sessions.
- Proficiency in using training aids, multimedia tools, and presentation software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
