Key Responsibilities:
Material Inspection:
Verify the quality of incoming materials, such as pipes, fittings, and valves, ensuring they meet required specifications and standards.
Welding Supervision:
Monitor welding procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with welding codes, standards, and procedures.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT):
Witness and/or perform NDT methods (., radiography, ultrasonic testing) to assess the integrity of welds and other piping components.
Process Monitoring:
Oversee fabrication, installation, and testing processes, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances.
Reporting:
Prepare reports documenting inspections, testing results, and non-conformance findings.
Collaboration:
Work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and project specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of piping codes and standards (., ASME, AWS, API), NDT techniques, and welding procedures.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze inspection results and identify deviations from specifications.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve quality issues in a timely and effective manner.

Ability to manage documentation, track inspections, and maintain records.
