job description for pharmacist

• receiving the goods from suppliers and arrange the same properly

• check the expiry and remove from the rack

• maintain the narcotic drugs on every shift & reporting to manager

• issues the drugs as per ward requirement or prescription

• mention or written the non availability drugs and minimum stocks in wanted notebook

• check the essential drugs on weekly basis

• provide the drug information to ward in charge and consultant

• maintain the pharmacy need and clean

• check the cold storage

• co ordinate with ward and other departments

• don’t dispense any schedule drugs without prescription

• check the all issue (ward and patient) before dispatch

• train the pharma aid for issues and arrangements

job description pharma aid:

pharma aid is basically non pharmacy but experience in hospital pharmacy & other pharmacy counter. need & tidy of pharmacy, arrangements, supplies and packing in pharmacy are basic work.

• arrange the received goods with the help of pharmacist.

• clean the racks and stocks

• issue the drugs for ot & other wards

• filling the rack from bulk stocks

• supplies the drugs to ward

• mention or written the non availability drugs and minimum stocks in wanted notebook

• stock check with respective rack wise
