we are seeking a passionate and dynamic outreach officer to join our team in dharashiv. the outreach officer will be instrumental in connecting our [programs/products/services] with the local community, building strong relationships, and ensuring effective communication and engagement. this role requires excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to achieving our organizational goals by reaching out to target beneficiaries or clients.

key responsibilities:

community engagement & mobilization:

act as a primary point of contact between the organization and target communities/beneficiaries within dharashiv district.

conduct field visits to villages, communities, schools, or local groups to promote awareness about the organization's mission, programs, or services.

organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, awareness campaigns, and group discussions.

identify community needs, concerns, and feedback, and relay them to the relevant internal teams.

program/service promotion & enrollment:

clearly and persuasively explain the benefits and features of our [programs/products/services] to potential beneficiaries or clients.

assist eligible individuals/groups in understanding and completing application/enrollment processes.

support the distribution of informational materials (brochures, flyers, forms) to target audiences.

relationship building & networking:

establish and maintain strong working relationships with local community leaders (sarpanchs, anganwadi workers, teachers, shg leaders), local government officials, ngos, and other relevant stakeholders.

build trust and rapport with community members to facilitate program acceptance and participation.

data collection & reporting:

collect relevant data through surveys, interviews, and community interactions as required for program monitoring and evaluation.

maintain accurate records of outreach activities, community engagement efforts, and beneficiary data.

prepare and submit regular progress reports to the supervisor, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

event coordination:

assist in planning and executing outreach events, health camps, training sessions, or public awareness drives.

ensure all logistical arrangements for field activities are in place.
