Job Title: Medical Superintendent

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Reports To: Hospital Director / Board

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the hospitals medical services, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, clinical governance, and effective coordination between departments in a 200+ bedded setup.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily medical operations and patient care quality

Ensure NABH and regulatory compliance

Lead and mentor clinical staff

Coordinate with administrative teams for smooth functioning

Handle patient grievances and critical escalations

Support hospital strategy, planning, and audits

Liaise with external health bodies and regulatory agencies

Qualifications and Experience:

Education: MBBS with MD/MS or MBA in Healthcare/Hospital Administration (preferred)

Experience:

Minimum 15+ years total experience in clinical and administrative roles

5+ years in a leadership role managing Medical Services in a 200+ bedded hospital

Hands-on experience with NABH accreditation and compliance

Licensure: Valid registration with the Medical Council
