A Manual Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring software quality through manual testing, identifying defects, and working with development teams to resolve issues. They create and execute test plans, document defects, and perform various testing types like functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Plan Creation and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software functionality and quality.

Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, collaborating with development teams to resolve them.

Testing Types: Perform various types of testing, including functional, non-functional (., performance, security), and regression testing.

Test Documentation: Maintain and update test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality and meet project requirements.

Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress and identify potential issues.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing processes and workflows.
