OUR TECH STACK CURRENTLY:

 Django for backend application

 Thumbor for image serving

 Django templates/css/javascript for frontend (We have plans to migrate to SSR

as quickly as possible)

 Postgres

 AWS for hosting

 Strapi, gatsby () for blog

SKILLS REQUIRED:

 Basic foundation knowledge of how web systems work (Know most of stuff (if not

 Basics of performance issues and optimisation in web systems.

 Knowledge and applications of common good code practices used for clean,

reusable and maintainable code.

 Task distribution and team management.

 Python and Knowledge of django.

 RDBMS knowledge to create good schema design and efficient SQL.

 Basic Javascript knowledge ( (or similar framework) preferred).

 Where and when to use AWS and services provided by it.

 Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.

 Ability to learn and research about things you don't know.

We don't expect mastery of the above skills. However, we do expect overall awareness

of above skills, and we do expect candidate to step up and master anything needed to

get job done.
