to be able to read and understand p& ids / pfds thoroughly
to be able to co-ordinate with other disciplines & project management team

instrument index
instrument specifications
i/o list
jb schedule
cable schedule
interconnection wiring schedules
control loop diagrams
hook-up drawings
equipment location drawings for field instrumentation
field junction box lay-out drawings
power distribution field box lay-out drawings
embedded plate and channel base drawings for i&c equipment
installation material lists for field instrumentation
cable lists with cable routing information
cable tray drawings, with supporting structures included etc
should have thorough knowledge of below codes and standards:
assembler job duties:
prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
