we are currently looking for a senior consultant at informatica.

required experience: 8+ years of it experience in below skills

notice period: immediate to 15 days

location : chennai

required skill:

• informatica etl - should have hands-on in creating informatica mappings, workflows

• db, sql - strong db and sql skills with experience in development and implementation of data warehousing applications

• knowledge in data warehousing methodologies and concepts

• expertise in two or more databases, elt / etl development, test driven development, source-target mappings, transformation and data quality rules.

• good experience on scd type 2 implementation, incremental strategy implementation using informatica etl

• monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot and fix issues/job failures.

• fix defects, explore, analyze and formulate fixes for data issues.

• thorough understanding on data warehousing methodologies and concepts

• lead activities involving design, developing and testing.

• troubleshoot etl and fix defects, explore, analyze and formulate fixes for data issues

• participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within and across projects.

• effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

• experience working on unix platforms - aix, linux.

desired skill:

• data modeling techniques, database/etl performance tuning skills.

• experience with unix/linux including basic commands and shell scripting

• experience working on any etl scheduling tools like autosys, control-m etc.

• comfortable working on agile projects and devops environment.

• knowledge in cloud environment will be an added advantage

• financial/telecom/banking domain experience is a plus.
