the housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in the assigned areas of the organization. this includes cleaning offices, restrooms, common areas, and ensuring that all spaces are well-maintained and presentable.
key responsibilities:
perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
clean and sanitize restrooms, pantry areas, and other common spaces.
replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues.
follow safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
assist in setting up meeting rooms or event spaces when required.
report any damages or repairs needed to the supervisor.
ensure confidentiality and professionalism while working in office areas.
qualifications:
minimum education: 10th standard (preferred but not mandatory).
prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is an advantage.
ability to work independently and as part of a team.
basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
work conditions:
