the inventory manager will oversee the companys inventory operationsfinished goods dispatch. the role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate between production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure accurate stock control. maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory (raw materials, semi-finished, and finished rugs).
monitor stock levels, identify shortages or overstock situations, and plan reordering accordingly. implement and maintain effective inventory management systems (manual or software-based). supervise warehouse staff and ensure safe handling and storage of goods. conduct periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile discrepancies. coordinate with production and sales teams for dispatch planning and delivery schedules. prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management. develop and enforce standard operating procedures for stock movement and documentation. ensure safety, quality, and audit standards in the warehouse. suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency. graduate any stream); preference for candidates with inventory or logistics certifications (but not mandatory) 1-2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (experience in textile, carpet, or handicraft industry preferred). strong knowledge of excel, erp, or inventory management software. excellent numerical and analytical skills. leadership and team management capabilities. strong coordination and communication skills. attention to detail and high sense of accountability.
