• must possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate conceptual ideas with clients and other design engineers.

• develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, using computer-assisted drafting (cad) equipment.

• review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.

• compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.

• modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce cooling problems

• knowledge of referring technical catalogues in preparing shop drawings; cooling towers layout & sections; duct riser/shaft layouts & sections; ducts & chw hanging and support details

• knowledge of autocad, hap / elite, bim (revit - mep) software programs. knowledge of international standard code (ashrae, upc, ipc, smacna)

• should posses’ knowledge of chiller piping, load calculations, duct sizing/layout, pipe sizing / routing, developing riser diagrams, gas routing etc
