Responsibilities:
Installation & Setup:
Install, assemble, and set up new equipment, machinery, devices, or systems according to technical specifications and installation guidelines.
Ensure proper calibration and initial testing for optimal functionality.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:
Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) checks, inspections, and servicing of equipment/systems to ensure continuous operation and extend lifespan.
Identify potential issues, worn parts, or areas requiring attention before they lead to breakdowns.
Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs promptly in response to breakdowns or malfunctions.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot faults in equipment, machinery, or systems using appropriate diagnostic tools, manuals, and experience.
Identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
Repair & Replacement:
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble components or systems as necessary.
Replace defective parts, components, or wiring following technical specifications.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities performed, including work done, parts used, time spent, and findings.
Generate activity reports, service reports, or inspection checklists.
Safety & Compliance:
Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant industrial safety regulations (., Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, electrical safety standards).
Always use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for the task.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Tool & Equipment Management:
Proficiently and safely use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, specialized diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments relevant to the area of expertise.
Ensure proper care, calibration, and basic maintenance of all tools and equipment.
Part Management:
Identify and request necessary spare parts and consumables required for repairs and maintenance.
Track inventory of frequently used spares.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work effectively and collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, production staff, and relevant departments.
Communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors regarding work progress, issues, and requirements. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for effective local interaction and understanding instructions. Basic English proficiency is beneficial for understanding technical manuals or safety guidelines.
