the e-commerce executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the online presence of a company��s products or services across e-commerce platforms. this role involves handling product listings, coordinating with various departments, managing online marketing efforts, and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
key responsibilities:
product listings & catalog management:
upload and manage product listings on e-commerce platforms (amazon, flipkart, shopify, etc.).
ensure accurate product descriptions, pricing, and images.
monitor stock levels and coordinate with inventory teams.
order & fulfillment management:
track orders, returns, and cancellations.
coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
resolve customer complaints and issues related to orders.
platform & vendor coordination:
liaise with third-party marketplaces and platform account managers.
ensure compliance with platform-specific rules and policies.
marketing & promotions:
implement digital marketing strategies including seo, sem, email marketing, and social media.
run paid campaigns and seasonal promotions.
monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
analytics & reporting:
analyze sales data and customer behavior to improve conversions.
prepare performance reports for management.
customer experience:
monitor and respond to customer reviews and queries.
work with customer service teams to enhance the post-sale experience.
required skills & qualifications:
bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
1��3 years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing.
proficiency in ms excel, google analytics, and e-commerce platforms.
strong communication and coordination skills.
knowledge of seo/sem and basic design tools (like canva or photoshop) is a plus.
