Overview : A Dialysis Technician, also known as a hemodialysis technician, is a healthcare professional who operates and maintains dialysis machines to treat patients with kidney failure. They work under the supervision of nurses and doctors, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of dialysis treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and Monitoring Equipment:

Dialysis technicians prepare dialysis machines, assemble the extracorporeal circuit (tubing), and ensure proper machine function before treatment.

Patient Monitoring:

They monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration) during treatment, observe patients for any adverse reactions, and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or physician.
