responsibilities:

• expertise in automating ci/cd pipelines using jenkins, terraform, ansible, docker, packer, github, chef, puppet. knowledge of kubernetes a plus.

• experience in building data pipelines and good knowledge of big data, sql & no sql databases and file formats like parquet, orc, avro, json etc.

• developing templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions. knowledge of gcp / aws an advantage.

• monitor & maintain multiple ci/cd pipeline automation. experience in grafana a plus.

• setting up or managing backups and patching across the environments.

• experience in setting up and managing spark environments and airflow

• experience in writing solid unit tests and integration tests. behavior driven development experience (cucumber / selenium) a plus.

• experience with linux environments and scripting languages. automation using perl/python/java/shell script/yaml/groovy.

• experience with networking concepts (tcp, udp, http, dns, load balancing, reverse proxy etc.)

• good understanding of application development lifecycle and using tools like ant, maven, gradle and version control (github, svn or git).

• experience leading a team of 5+ devops engineers. as team lead – 2+ years.

• extensive experience in infrastructure implementation, automation, deployment, testing, documenting and maintenance of web based applications in multi - tiered architecture, big data / dwh / spark infrastructure and clustered environments.
