package handling and delivery:

load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.

follow planned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries, often using a company-provided or personal navigation system/app.

deliver a high volume of packages to residences and businesses daily.

ensure all packages are accounted for and delivered to the correct recipient/location.

customer interaction:

provide excellent customer service, interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

address customer inquiries or issues politely, or escalate them to dispatch/support when necessary.

documentation and technology:

utilize handheld devices/scanners and delivery apps for real-time routing, package tracking, and confirming proof of delivery (., obtaining signatures or taking photos).

maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.

vehicle and safety:

perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.

adhere to all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety standards while operating the vehicle.

ensure the security of the vehicle and packages at all times.
