We are looking for a highly qualified chartered accountant with two to five years of experience to lead an accounting department. The chartered accountant is responsible for implementing accounting systems and processes, preparing monthly financial reports, controlling the master data of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with the government Inland Revenue Department.
To be successful as a chartered accountant, you should possess a stable working track record, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be highly knowledgeable in the broad spectrum of accountancy accounting practices. It would help if you also are certified and accredited by the relevant association and governing body.
Posting would be full-time in an office situated in Trinidad & Tobago. Trinidad is a Caribbean country situated between North and South America.

Chartered Accountant Responsibilities:
• Oversee the duties of the accounting team.
• Implement accounting systems and processes.

• Review and release online banking payments.

Chartered Accountant Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Honor's degree preferred.
• Completion of Articles.
• three years of post-article experience.
• Registration with accredited statutory bodies and associations.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Fully compliant as a tax practitioner.
• Filing of corporate tax returns.
• Experience in providing financial advice.
