a cardiology technician is responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures related to the cardiovascular system under the supervision of a cardiologist. the main responsibilities of a cardiology technician include conducting stress tests, electrocardiograms (ecgs), echocardiograms, holter monitoring, and other cardiovascular tests. they are also responsible for preparing patients for procedures, explaining the test procedures to the patients, and recording and interpreting test results accurately.
