Job Description:

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Block Plaster Masons to join our team in Qatar. As a Block Plaster Mason, you will play a vital role in applying plaster and finishing materials to block walls, ensuring a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface. Your expertise in masonry and plastering techniques will contribute to the quality and durability of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and mix plastering materials, including cement, sand, and water, to create the desired consistency.

Apply plaster to block walls, ensuring an even and smooth surface while considering proper thickness and adhesion.

Use trowels, floats, and other tools to spread and shape plaster, achieving the desired texture and finish.

Align and level blocks and bricks to ensure accurate plaster application.

Install corner beads and other reinforcements as needed for stability and durability.

Repair and patch existing plaster surfaces to match new applications.

Apply decorative finishes, textures, and designs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of plastered surfaces.

Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate work and ensure seamless integration of plastering with other trades.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain clean and organized work areas, disposing of waste materials properly.

Inspect and assess completed plasterwork for quality, addressing any imperfections or inconsistencies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Block Plaster Mason or similar role in plastering and masonry.

In-depth knowledge of plastering materials, techniques, and tools.

Familiarity with different types of plaster finishes and textures.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and construction plans.

Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

Proficiency in using trowels, floats, and other plastering tools.
