we are looking for a motivated back-end developer interested in being part of a fast-growing fintech start-up. the candidate will work directly with our cto on improving the platform, ensuring everything is working and, most importantly, on developing new features. examples of new features include adding a finance news page, automating the meritas job board, adding push notifications, adding user-to-user chat, enhancing the profile views, etc. the position is for a full-time, remote employment opportunity, although part-time contributors will be considered, provided there is a minimum continuity level to their potential involvement. the meritas platform includes our website, , as well as both an android and ios app. the back-end is coded in c# and the front-end is primarily in javascript. experience in c# is preferred, though not necessary. we’re going after the best brightest and most motivated candidates, not necessarily the people with experience with our specific technologies.

requirements

minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant subject. all experience levels are welcomed otherwise.

strong organizational and communication skills, enabling you to work well as part of a team, albeit remotely.

self-driven and motivated individual, aspiring to be part of an authentic startup story.

basic knowledge of and interest for finance preferred.
