Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and results-oriented Workshop Manager to oversee and lead all operations at our workshop facility in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of mechanics/technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high standards of repair quality, managing inventory, optimizing productivity, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, profitability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning & Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including job scheduling, work allocation, and resource planning (manpower, tools, bays).
Develop and implement efficient workshop processes and procedures to maximize productivity and turnaround time.
Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, train, and motivate a team of mechanics, technicians, and other workshop staff.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-conscious work environment.
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and resolve inter-personal conflicts.
Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight:
Ensure all repair, maintenance, and fabrication work meets quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of work-in-progress and completed jobs.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, assisting with complex diagnoses and challenging repairs.
Stay updated on the latest industry technologies, equipment, and best practices.
Inventory & Spares Management:
Oversee the ordering, receiving, storage, and issuance of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize waste, and conduct regular stock audits.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts.
Customer & Client Relations:
Interact with clients to understand their service requirements, explain repair procedures, and provide accurate cost estimates.

Provide technical advice and build strong, trusting relationships with clients.
Financial Management & Reporting:
