key responsibilities:

1. oversee utility systems: the utility manager is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and performance of utility systems such as electricity, water, gas, and hvac systems in the facility.

2. ensure compliance with regulations: the utility manager must ensure that all utility systems meet regulatory standards and requirements to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

3. develop maintenance plans: the utility manager should develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the continuous operation of utility systems and prevent unexpected breakdowns.

4. troubleshoot problems: the utility manager should be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise with utility systems and implement solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

5. conduct regular inspections: regular inspections of utility systems are necessary to identify potential issues early on and address them before they cause any disruptions in operations.
