job summary:

a skilled sql database administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize microsoft sql server databases across production, development, and staging environments.

key responsibilities:

�� install, configure, and manage sql server (on-prem & cloud �� azure/aws).

�� optimize database performance through tuning, query optimization, and indexing.

�� implement ha/dr solutions (always on, clustering, log shipping, replication).

�� manage backup, recovery, security, upgrades, and migrations.

�� monitor database health, capacity, and performance proactively.

�� troubleshoot incidents, provide rca, and support developers with queries & schema design.

�� ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit standards.

�� maintain documentation and operational procedures.
