Sourcing Specialist

we are looking for a dynamic sourcing specialist to manage vendor sourcing, procurement activities, and machine-work hiring for our operations. the role requires strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers. the ideal candidate will ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely service delivery across machine-related requirements.

key responsibilities:

source, evaluate, and onboard vendors, suppliers, and contractors for machine-based work.

manage end-to-end procurement cycles including rfqs, price negotiation, and po finalization.

track market rates, compare quotations, and ensure cost-effective procurement.

coordinate with production, maintenance, and operations teams to understand sourcing needs.

maintain vendor documentation, contracts, and performance records.

build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service reliability.

analyze requirements and identify opportunities for better pricing, new vendors, and process improvements.

ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

provide weekly sourcing reports and data updates to management.

required skills & qualifications:

bachelors degree in supply chain, engineering, business administration, or related field.

24 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or machine-work vendor management.

strong negotiation, vendor evaluation, and cost-analysis skills.

basic knowledge of mechanical components, machining work, or industrial procurement preferred.

good communication and coordination abilities.

proficiency in ms excel, google sheets, and documentation tools.

ability to multitask, manage timelines, and maintain strong follow-ups.
