Job Description

1. business development and prospecting:

identify and generate leads: proactively seek new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, networking, social selling, referrals, and market research.

market analysis: conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand customer needs, and stay informed on industry trends and competitors.

qualify prospects: evaluate leads to determine their potential and fit for the company's products/services.

2. sales management and execution:

client meetings & presentations: schedule and attend meetings (virtually or in-person) with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and present tailored product/service solutions.

product expertise: develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products/services, features, and benefits.

negotiation and closing: negotiate prices, contracts, and terms of sale, and skillfully close deals to achieve sales targets.

sales targets: work diligently towards and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals (kpis).

3. client relationship management:

relationship building: act as the primary point of contact and build and maintain long-term, meaningful relationships with clients to secure repeat business and referrals.

post-sales support: provide effective after-sales support, handle customer questions and complaints, and gather feedback for product/service improvement.

4. reporting and administration:

crm management: utilize customer relationship management (crm) software (., salesforce, hubspot) to track leads, log sales activity, manage the sales pipeline, and maintain accurate customer records.

reporting: prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.

documentation: prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and contracts for clients.

5. collaboration and company representation:

internal collaboration: work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies, ensure a seamless customer experience, and relay customer feedback for product development.

events: represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and promote the brand.
