key responsibilities:

1. loading and unloading baggage and cargo: as a ramp agent, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading baggage and cargo onto aircraft, following strict safety guidelines.

2. marshalling aircraft: you will assist in guiding aircraft to and from the gate using hand signals and radio communication to ensure safe and efficient movement on the ramp.

3. operating ground support equipment: you will operate equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts to transport baggage and cargo to and from aircraft.

4. conducting safety inspections: ramp agents perform pre-flight safety checks on equipment and report any issues to maintenance personnel to ensure the safe operation of equipment.

5. communicating with flight crew: you will communicate with the flight crew to coordinate the loading and unloading of baggage and cargo, as well as any special handling requirements.

required skills and expectations:

1. strong communication skills: ability to effectively communicate with team members and flight crew to ensure efficient ramp operations.

2. physical fitness: must be able to lift heavy baggage and cargo, bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.

3. attention to detail: ability to follow safety procedures and accurately load and unload baggage and cargo.

4. flexibility: willingness to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
