roles & responsibilities:

-understand the requirements

-analyze the requirements after understanding them

-plan for the implementation

-peer to peer review

-log defects and track them to closure

-complete assigned tasks on time

-update task and defect status in the defect tracking tool on a real-time basis

-communicate the status of the project and any issues that may affect the task completion date

-participate actively in the scheduled team meetings, project status meetings

-adhere to the documented inkey's quality management specifications

mandatory skills:

-knowledge of data warehousing with understanding in bi report development

-knowledge of using power bi desktop as a tool

-capability to transform the data into visualizations/dashboard reports

-hands-on with tabular data modeling.

-ability to quickly grasp the application functionality

-connect, import, shape, and transform data for business intelligence (bi)

-designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions

-crafting and executing queries upon request for data

-presenting information through reports and visualization

-familiarity with data integration and testing

-ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

-a natural communicator who can explain esoteric technical concepts in clear, plain english (both written and verbal)

good to have:

-knowledge of sql queries,

-sql server reporting services (ssrs)

-sql server integration services (ssis)

-sql server analysis services (ssas)
