ï‚· Ensure food is prepared in line with standard recipe. ï‚· Product knowledge of all items on all current menus within areas worked. ï‚· Date label all food as outlined in the kitchen operations handbook. ï‚· Ensure food intended for display in public areas is displayed neatly and attractively and at the appropriate temperature according to hygiene and safety principles and procedures. ï‚· Store all food as outlined in the kitchen operations handbook. ï‚· Ensure no cross contamination occurs within the kitchen. ï‚· Report any shortages in stock to the Assistant Manager. ï‚· Any food that is left over must be properly labeled and stored. ï‚· Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items. ï‚· Primarily responsible for peeling, cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and measuring and mixing ingredients. ï‚· Ensuring all necessary items is on hand. ï‚· Communicate courteously. ï‚· Attend shift briefings when and where required. ï‚· Actively participates in training related to their role. ï‚· Maintain a clean workstation at all times. ï‚· Ensure daily, weekly and monthly routine cleaning and preventative duties related to all
